The month of May has arrived, which means graduation is right around the corner! First, congratulations are in order for those of you that are graduating, either from junior high, high school or college! Graduating is such an accomplishment, and it's one to be celebrated! You'll be handed your diploma in front of family, friends and all your peers, so feeling confident and looking your best is important!

As someone with a few successful graduations under her belt, I've collected a few tips on what to wear and what to skip for the perfect grad look! First, consider the color of your gown. It can be difficult to get the colors exact, so while matching is ideal, it's definitely not necessary. And depending on the shade of your gown, almost any color can work, as long as it doesn't clash. Then, consider of the length of your dress, skirt or pants. You'll want them to hit a few inches above your gown's hemline so they're not showing underneath. Next, take note of the neckline of your top. You don't want it to take away from the overall look if it doesn't go with your gown's neckline. Last, the most important thing to pay attention to is your shoes. They're going to show no matter what you're wearing, so make sure you can walk comfortably in them (AKA don't trip while walking across the stage!) and they compliment your gown. Now that you've done your homework, here are few options for the perfect outfit for the big day!
